At Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) we are proud to be marking our 60th anniversary in 2025.
kp was founded in Montabaur, Germany, in 1965, and since then we have continued to deliver game-changing innovation and service excellence as one of the world's leading sustainable packaging solutions companies.

As we reflect on our past and our proud heritage, we also look to the future as we continue to innovate, design and manufacture sustainable packaging solutions, responding to the needs and challenges of our customers.

The first kp i.center

Our first kp i.center (innovation centre) was opened in Charlottesville, USA, in 2015, emphasising our commitment to research and development. Jump forward to 2025, and we have established dedicated kp i.centers in the US and Europe, investing in R&D to create sustainable, innovative solutions.
