A Rewarding Career at kp

Over my 26-year career at kp, I've tackled challenges, seized opportunities, and made significant strides, both personally and professionally. My journey began in 1998 when I joined KBF's slitting department. While I faced some personal challenges with managing work and single motherhood, kp provided a supportive environment in which I could grow.
The next turning point occurred in 2017, when I moved to the main plant to work in the packing department. Sensing my capabilities, Tony Frye offered me an opportunity to train as a Raw Materials Lead. Although I briefly stepped back from the role due to an injury, I returned and chose to excel as a Material Handler.

In November 2023, the Lead position reappeared on my path. With a supportive team by my side, I eagerly accepted the role. Today, I view my tenure of nearly 26 years at kp and my team's confidence in me as pivotal accomplishments in my career.

International Women's Day holds significant meaning for me. Despite the challenges of working in a male-dominated industry, I'm heartened by the progress that women have made over the years. IWD not only celebrates our achievements but serves as a catalyst for further growth and change.
