Recycling project on-the-go!

kp is driving a project to boost the recyclability of packaging waste from products bought and consumed on-the-go. The project aims to divert packaging from general waste destined for incineration or landfill by improving recycling education and infrastructure away from home. By doing so, it will be captured and recycled back into valuable raw material for kp food-to-go packaging, helping to close the loop.

With the support of Forum for the Future, a leading international sustainability non-profit organisation, and in partnership with a consortium of stakeholders, we aim to radically redesign the UK collection, sorting and recycling system for plastic packaging while on-the-go. Once we have achieved this goal in the UK, we plan to replicate this initiative across many geographies.
