The power of partnerships

Making transformational changes in the global plastic packaging industry requires collaboration.
That’s why we work closely with governments, industry partners, recyclers, customers and retailers around the world to improve recycling systems and increase the use of recycled material in packaging. We want to make sure plastic waste is recognised as a valuable resource and doesn’t leak into the environment.

We are a board member of leading industry organisations, including EUPC, Petcore, INCPEN and RECOUP. We chair PET Sheet Europe, co-chair the Petcore Thermoforming Working Group and sit on the BPF Management Committee.

We have signed the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy Global Commitment, supporting a goal to eliminate plastic waste and pollution at its source. We also sit on the Advisory Committee of the UK Plastic Pact and have signed up to the Circular Plastics Alliance, which aims to incorporate 10 million tonnes of recycled plastics into products annually in Europe by 2025.

We are committed to the European Plastics Industry Voluntary Commitments and have signed onto ‘Plastics 2030’, supporting the European Commission’s aim to transform Europe into a more circular and resource‑efficient economy.
