Klöckner Pentaplast Group Announcement – Change of Chief Financial Officer

London, UK – 29 December 2023 - Klöckner Pentaplast (“kp” or “the Company”), a global leader in recycled content products and high barrier protective packaging, today announces that, after more than five years with the company, Frederic Jung is stepping down from his role as Chief Financial Officer, with effect from 31 December 2023, to take on a new challenge.

During his tenure, as part of the leadership team, Frederic has worked closely with the kp Board and external stakeholders, improving the profitability of kp, successfully completing its refinancing and driving pricing discipline over the last few years. kp would like to thank him for his significant contribution and for his service to the company.

The kp Board is pleased to announce that Frederic will be succeeded as CFO by Marc Rotella, who will join kp in January 2024.

Marc brings with him over 20 years’ finance experience gained in multiple industries across a spectrum of business models.  He joins kp from WestRock, where he has served as Head of Corporate Finance, Corporate Development and Converting Finance for the last five years. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Fiserv, following 12 years at Honeywell International in a range of senior finance roles, including Chief Financial Officer of the Business and General Aviation strategic business unit and Chief Financial Officer of the Speciality Chemicals business.

Frederic Jung commented: “I am very proud of our achievements over the past five years. It has been an honour to work with kp’s and SVP’s leadership teams and so many talented individuals. I am leaving knowing that kp is well positioned for the future. Marc is a talented CFO who will be a positive addition to kp’s leadership team, as it continues to drive the future success of the company.”
